Gaye Lalich

The Change-Maker

Gaye Lalich had a lifetime of experience in sales and entrepreneurship, but also had a big vision for creating a movement. She noticed that as people moved up corporate ladders, the sense of teamwork and support got lost. So, in 2016 she founded E.Y.E. Prosper, a network for business owners, non-profits, and big dreamers, where they could find the expertise and support they need among highly qualified and vetted professional peers.

The Challenge

Although Gaye was building a supportive network that was changing members’ lives, her site wasn’t functioning the way it needed to accomplish her goals. Not being a tech person herself, the site seemed fine to Gaye… until it no longer was fine. Between having a site that was inaccessible from a development standpoint, lacking pizazz from a branding perspective, and feeling stuck, she wasn’t sure what to focus on next.

“Developing a site was not in my wheelhouse, so working with someone I could trust and would figure things out outside of scope, who was confident and capable, made it a wonderful experience.”

The Solution

Gaye says that Laurie came highly recommended by people she liked and valued. Through talking over Gaye’s needs, Laurie was able to uncover the functionality that needed to be addressed and assign an effective process to the project. What E.Y.E. Prosper really needed, to be able to reach the right members and serve them, was a full branding package and a new membership site.

Not only did Laurie oversee the project and complete most of the website design and development, but she was also able to assemble an expert team for facilitation when it came to the technical site setup. However, she also communicated project updates to Gaye without weighing her down in the little details of how the project was being completed. Gaye knew she was in good hands and was confident in the process.

“Laurie is accessible and communicates well, which is a novelty and rarity these days. She’s a great example of someone who takes her work seriously, understands what clients’ needs are, and can explain things to someone not literate in that area.”

The Outcome

Laurie listened to her thoughts, concerns, and needs, stayed accessible throughout the project, and kept Gaye informed along the way. Before working with Laurie, Gaye had struggled to find the right person to complete the project and it was weighing her down. Laurie’s confidence made her feel as though a weight had been lifted.

Now that the project is complete, E.Y.E. Prosper Network has a beautiful, functional, easy to use, and compelling site that attracts new members, informs current members, and elevates the brand.
